Last semester a group of 9 students (including me) had a great experience in producing a fancy stop-motion short! Within the limits of a student project we produced a classic stop-motion movie combined with real takes.
The movie is telling about what really happens in our head, if we fall in love with somebody. Why do we see things “through rose-colored glasses” and why are we talking about “butterflies in one’s stomach”?
All those questions we tried to answer in our movie. The piece below is in german. I will upload the subtitled version soon.
The movie contains real-takes, stop-motion and computer generated elements. The real-takes had been shooted within 3 days. The animation (stop-trick) shooting took about four weeks! The challenge was to bridge real shooted material with the animated scenes. I hope you like it!
